Obituary for Peggy G. Howell (Rising)

Peggy G. Howell was born in Sacramento, California on March 10, 1947. Her family moved to Turlock,
California and there she attended and graduated from Turlock High School. Peggy continued her education
by attending San Jose State University where she received an Associate Degree.

In 1972, while strolling through the park one day, Peggy met the love her life Robert. After some courtship,
some laughter, and some good times, they got engaged and married on June 16. 1972. Peggy held on to life
long enough make it to their 44 years of marriage passing only one day after their 44th Year Anniversary.
Peggy traveled the country as she followed her husband Robert during his military career. Robert’s last post
was here in Ft. Lewis, Washington and finally the family settled down from traveling and built a life in the
greater Pacific Northwest.

Peggy was very proud of her family and her three children Anne, Timmy and Mary. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her many friends A longtime employee of the State of
Washington, Peggy in 1979 was employed by Western State Hospital as a Mental Health Technician. She later
was transferred to the Washington State DSHS Offices were she worked as a special services clerk until her retirement. During her times of relaxation she enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, reading, art and music.
Peggy’s passion was for old movies, and old Western TV shows like Gunsmoke, Maverick, and Bonanza. She
was an avid Nationwide traveler and had touch ground on 48 of the 50 States in the country.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Stanley Hall and one daughter Lorraine Howell
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Robert, and three children, Anne Case, Timothy Howell, and Mary Anderson. Her grandchildren remaining to always remember are James Jr., Mary and Edward Anderson. One brother Timothy is also left to cherish the memory of his sister Peggy
